Worst part about that is he’s reeling up her dead body, of course he doesn’t know she’s dead yet, but he’s still wise-cracking away as he’s pulling her up..it’s terrible :(

I hope they do the Gwen Stacy death justice in the movie…like it has the potential to be one of the most heart-breaking pieces of cinema…

Umi and I were talking about this a few days ago (which caused me to reread the arc and sob into my wine for the rest of the evening).

While I was in the theater I was the only person who threw up their hands and gestured emphatically at the screen. My mind was pretty much yelling, “Don’t do that again, you idiot, it will be a TRAGEDY.”
